New VisiWeb microphone preamplifier enables safe travelling and versatile use

The new VisiWeb Microphone Preamplifier DMPE is not only compact and robust, its versatility also makes it suitable for flexible applications outside the railway sector.

Ruf has launched a new microphone preamplifier that has been specially developed for railway applications. The VisiWeb DMPE microphone preamplifier is mainly used in passenger train vehicles such as commuter trains or trams, so that drivers can establish a reliable voice connection with the control centre or speak to passengers in high quality. A good example of this is the use of the amplifier in the trams modernised by Ruf in the German city of Halle.

The VisiWeb DMPE not only ensures better sound quality and reliability when using dynamic microphones, it also has a particularly robust design and fulfils protection class IP67, which means that it is protected against dust and splash water. Thanks to its sturdy construction, it can withstand both mechanical impacts and electrical interference without being damaged. These outstanding properties make it ideal for demanding environments such as those found in railway technology and other industrial sectors.

The VisiWeb DMPE is characterised by its high performance, it can amplify signals up to 110 times. Its wide voltage range of 24 to 110 VDC allows for flexible applications and thanks to its configurability, it can be used with a variety of dynamic microphones, making it very versatile.

With its compact and robust design and energy efficiency, the VisiWeb DMPE is an innovative solution that ensures reliable and clear sound, whether in railway or other demanding applications.
